How to Access Molds Dashboard
1. A successful login takes you to the ProFile dashboard. However, if you are on a different module, click the squares icon on the left navigation bar. Doing so takes you to the Dashboards screen.
2. Here, all mold monitoring stats are displayed with each card representing an individual machine installed in the selected plant.
3. At the top-left corner is the Asset ID for the machine.
4. The asset ID is followed by the machine name.
5. Next up is the status of the machine whether it is connected or disconnected.
6. Clicking the bell icon next to the machine status reveals a tooltip displaying the latest activity related to the specific machine.
7. Moving forward, 4 parameters are displayed that help that show further stats for the machine. These include Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Parts/Hour, Cavitation, and Rejects.
8. OEE is the percentage of manufacturing time that is truly productive. You can read about how it is calculated here.
9. Parts/Hour represents the number of parts molded in an hour.
10. Cavitation refers to the number of parts a mold makes on each cycle.
11. Rejects shows the count for molded parts that were rejected in a cycle due to a flaw.
12. As we go further, the OEE, Availability, Performance, and Quality percentages are displayed as well as reflected via a pie chart.
13. Next up is a meter displaying the Cycle Time. It is defined as the time required to mold a single shot of material through the cycle to a completed part.
14. This is followed by the PM (Preventive Maintenance) status:
The Diamond on the left side of the bar indicates when the last PM was performed and the green bar indicates that PM is within the designated schedule.
The circle to the right of the bar indicates the number of cycles when the next PM needs to be performed. The number inside will indicate what PM Checklist applies to that asset. The circle will be amber if PM is due soon and red if it is overdue
15. Moving further, the production orders related to the specific machine are listed. In case there are no active production orders, text is displayed in red that says “No active production order”.
16. At the end is the downtime of the machine since its installation. This has a bar with multiple timestamps. Hovering over any timestamp reveals a tooltip displaying the duration (start and end time) and reason for the downtime.
17. By default, the statistics for molds per shift are displayed. In case you want to view stats for molds per day, click the Day toggle next to the Molds heading.
18. On the dashboard, data for out of tolerance machines is displayed on priority. In case you want to change that, disable the Out of Tolerance First toggle button.
19. Clicking the machine name takes you to the machine details screen. From here, you can create a work order, record parts consumption, classify downtime, and update the asset location.
20. Moreover, the machine details are segregated into Overview, Properties, Targets & Limits, Configuration, and PM Checklists.
21. Using the action buttons on the top-right corner, you can access the File Cabinet or Edit the details.
