How to Add Asset Property Definitions

ProFile > Left Navigation Bar > Administration > Asset Definitions

1.     Follow the above-mentioned workflow to land on the Asset Definitions screen.

2.     Click the parent class or asset definition you want to add property for from the asset definitions list.

3.     Navigate to the Asset Property section and click the + Add Property button. This opens the Add Property panel.

4.     Here, enter the name of the property in the Name field.

5.     Use the Display Name field to record the display name for the property.

6.     Enter a brief description of the property in the Description field.

7.     In case you want to keep this property mandatory, enable the Mandatory toggle button.

8.     Select the property type using the Base Type dropdown.

9.     Once the required selections are made, click the Add button.

10.  As the required properties are added, click the Save button.
