How to Add an Asset Definition

ProFile > Left Navigation Bar > Administration > Asset Definitions

1.     Follow the above-mentioned workflow to land on the Asset Definition screen.

2.     Click the + icon next to the parent class. This adds a new asset definition below the parent class and opens the Add New Subclass screen.

3.     Here, enter the name of the subclass in the Name field.

4.     Use the Description textbox to record a description of the subclass.

5.     Attach an icon by clicking the Icon thumbnail. This opens the system storage for you to choose a file from.

6.     The property definitions of the parent class are displayed in a grid. These are tabulated via various columns that include Name, Display Name, Base Type, Description, Default Value, and Actions.

7.     Once the required details are added, click the Save button.
